Ariana Hernandez
Grades 2/3 (Lower Elementary)
Ariana Holmes was born and raised in New Ipswich, New Hampshire. Living in a small town, she understood the value of giving back to the community and working as a whole for a greater cause. Ariana was a Girl Scout for 13 years and ran children's camps and fairs. She always knew that she wanted to work with children and, as she got older, she also wanted to step outside of her comfort zone. After graduating high school, Ariana attended Norwich University in Vermont where she majored in Psychology and Education and minored in Spanish. While in college, she taught a STEM after school program, worked part-time as a behavior interventionist, and student taught in a kindergarten class. Ariana also studied abroad in Costa Rica for four months, taught English to children in Tanzania, and volunteered at elephant shelters in Thailand. She tries to see the world through a child's eyes and with a child's heart, always curious, and forever learning.
